04/30/2013 - Attorney Scott McVarish has been chosen as faculty for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) national conference in San Francisco in June 2013. The American Immigration Lawyers Association is the country's largest and most important association of attorneys dedicated to the rights and dignity of immigrants. WIth over 11,000 attorneys and law professors who practice and teach immigration law, AILA's national conference is the most important gathering of and educational opportunities for immigration attorneys in the U.S. The Immigration Law Office of Los Angeles, P.C. extends its congratulations to attorney McVarish for this significant honor and accomplishment.

Attorney Scott McVarish Leads Immigration Law Training

07/28/2012 - As part of the firm's community service outreach... On Sat July 28, Attorney Scott McVarish gave a practical immigration law training to church leaders at Talbot Seminary in Biola University for the United Methodist Church Women's Conference. He trained the women church leaders in U visas for victims of crime, deferred action, complex green card cases and deportation defense.

Groundbreaking Case Frees Client from ICE Detention

07/21/11 - Scott McVarish won a groundbreaking case for his client, getting a Federal Court to release her from ICE detention and preventing her removal to Ecuador. McVarish later overturned her criminal conviction in Torrance Superior Court and later persuaded the BIA to terminate all proceedings against her including the overturning of her deportation order.
