The founder of the Immigration Law Office of Los Angeles, P.C. -- Scott Daniel McVarish, Esq.-- graduated from UCLA Law School in 1997. His first immigration case was my wife's case in 1997. Since then he has understood that every immigration case represents the opportunity, family or hope of a client.

Mr. McVarish currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Immigration liaison for the Clergy Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE-LA). He has been appointed the Immigration Attorney for the church "La Iglesia Celular" in Santa Clarita, California. He has conducted immigration law trainings in English for CLUE LA and the United Methodist Church and in Spanish for the Santa Clarita church and in Denver, Colorado.

Before entering UCLA law school Mr. McVarish graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in International Communications (through the College of Honors Program). He later earned a joint J.D., and M.A. from the UCLA School of Law and School of Public Policy respectively.

In law school, McVarish was honored with winning the Equal Justice America Fellowship and was named UCLA's first-ever LeBeauf Scholar and the UCLA Affiliates' "Student of the Year" award. McVarish studied "Ethics and Theology" one year at El Seminario Biblico Latinoamericano in San Jose, Costa Rica and has remained fluent in Spanish. At the age of 20, he became a published author with the book "The Greening of New Zealand", published by Random House.
